Developing an understanding of size and volume
... The Rose Tower promotes visual perception and an understanding of size relationships in a playful way. Children stack the ten cubes to build a harmonious tower, learning terms such as "bigger" and "smaller" as well as basic concepts of geometry and volume. Various exercises help to strengthen fine motor skills, while independent discovery of combinations and patterns stimulates creativity. The rose tower offers a wide range of possibilities and can be combined with other Montessori materials. The cubes are finished with an environmentally friendly, matt pink varnish.
