Recognising colours, learning to count, recognising direction
... The ladybird number puzzle helps children to learn colours, numbers and how to count. The numbers 1 to 5 are in the left column and the upper row can be used to place coloured beetles. The aim is to arrange the 20 beetles in the correct colours and with the correct number of spots so that their heads point in the right direction. This puzzle promotes colour differentiation, number recognition and quantity matching. It strengthens basic mathematical skills, observation and fine motor skills in a playful way.
