There are two types of elephant:
... the Indian elephant and the African elephant. The African elephant has much larger ears compared to the Indian elephant. With the help of their trunk and tusks, elephants dig deep holes in search of water during the dry season. Elephants feed exclusively on plants, e.g. hay, green fodder, leaves, tree bark, roots and fruits. They eat about 170 kg of fresh plants per day. Their water requirement of 100 litres per day is very high and essential for survival. The PVC-free play figure is lifelike and hand-painted. It has been awarded the "spiel gut" seal of quality.
