These turtles live in the water
... Sea turtles stick their heads out of the water to breathe. Sometimes they also breathe through their skin. Some even stay under the ice for weeks in winter. The female goes ashore to give birth. There she digs a deep pit into which she lays the eggs. Afterwards, the pit is filled up again. The sun now incubates the eggs. When the young hatch, they immediately run to the sea to avoid being eaten by birds. There are seven different species. Depending on the species, they grow to different sizes, weights and ages. Their appearance also differs significantly. The sea turtle feeds on sea grass, algae, seaweed, jellyfish, sponges, small fish, snails and squid. The PVC-free play figure is lifelike and hand-painted.
