The Stegosaurus belongs to the genus of dinosaurs
... It lived 195 million years ago in North America. The primitive animal, which was about 6 metres long and 2.5 metres high, had thick, double-rowed bone plates distributed over its back and powerful spikes at the end of its tail for protection against enemies. The stegosaur was a pure herbivore and moved only slowly on all fours. Due to its small head, it had only a small brain, but a second nervous system ten times its size in the spinal cord. The figure is naturalistically hand-painted.
