Recognising and matching colourful motifs and puzzle shapes
... Trees, houses, fish and mandala motifs - the colourful fantasy puzzles immediately prompt children to play. Each wooden puzzle has 12 individually shaped pieces that can only be inserted in a very specific place. The children can use the motifs and the shapes of the puzzle pieces or the recesses in the puzzle plates to orientate themselves while doing the puzzles. Two of the mandala puzzles (with a single-colour background) can only be put together using the shape of the pieces. The individual pieces can be easily removed through the recesses on the underside of the puzzle plate. The fantasy puzzles promote concentration, perception and thinking skills. The different levels of difficulty allow teachers to assess the childrens level of development.
